Zoya Kholshevnikova was a Soviet speed skater born on December 30, 1920, in Moscow, Russian SFSR. She rose to prominence in the late 1930s, winning a junior championship in 1937 and competing at senior championships starting in 1940. Kholshevnikova won the Soviet Championship in 1944 and earned several podium finishes at national championships in subsequent years. On the international stage, she debuted at the 1948 World Championship, securing a bronze medal, followed by a silver in 1949. She retired from competitive skating in 1952.
