Zubaida Jalal Khan is a Pakistani politician and social activist born on August 31, 1959. She has served as the Federal Minister for Defense Production since August 20, 2018. A member of the Pakistan Muslim League (Q), she gained prominence as the Minister of Education from 2002 to 2007 during Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's government. She successfully won a seat in the 2008 general elections. After a short hiatus from national politics, she joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N) but vacated her seat in favor of Kiran Haider, who retained her seat in the 2013 general elections.
