Zulema Cusseaux, known simply as Zulema, was an American disco and R&B singer and songwriter born on January 3, 1947. She had a successful solo career and was also part of an early lineup of the group Faith, Hope and Charity. Additionally, Zulema worked as a backing vocalist and songwriter for the legendary Aretha Franklin, contributing to various musical projects throughout her career. She passed away on September 30, 2013.
