Abdul Ghani Hazari (January 12, 1921 - 1976) was a Bengali poet and journalist born in Nayagram, Pabna District. He received the UNESCO Award in 1964 and the Bangla Academy Award in 1972 for his contributions to literature, along with the posthumous Ekushey Padak in journalism in 1990. Hazari began his career in journalism in 1947 with the weekly Alochon, and later held various significant positions in several newspapers. He was influential in the founding of organizations like the Writer’s Association and the Dhaka Art School.
