Abdullah Al-Ghathami (born 1946) is a Saudi academic, literary critic, and cultural theorist. He is a professor of criticism and theory at the Department of Arabic Language at King Saud University in Riyadh. Recognized for his significant contributions to cultural criticism, women's studies, poetry, and critical thought since the mid-1980s, he received the Sheikh Zayed Book Award for Cultural Personality of the Year in 2022 for his outstanding efforts in transforming Arabic critical discourse.
