After studying in Massachusetts, he returned to take over his family's ferry business following his father's death. He established the successful ice cream company Helados Bing in Guadalajara and played a key role in attracting U.S. investments to Mexico, contributing to the development of the Mexican Silicon Valley. Horn received several awards, including the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle. He dedicated his later years to youth empowerment and social programs before passing away on January 23, 2007.
