Ágoston Teres, also known as Gustav Teres, was a Hungarian-Norwegian Roman Catholic priest, monk (Jesuit), and astronomer born on January 25, 1931, in Kecskemét, Hungary. He faced challenges including the dissolution of monastic orders in Hungary and worked as an electrician before completing his theological studies in Spain and Germany. He became a priest in 1959 and moved to Oslo in 1961, serving the Hungarian community there. He earned degrees in education and astronomy and contributed to various publications. He passed away on December 21, 2007, in Oslo.
