Ahmad Motevaselian (1954) was an Iranian military officer who disappeared in Lebanon in 1982 along with three other Iranians. He served as a commander in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during the Iran-Iraq War and played a role in liberating Khorramshahr. He later participated in a diplomatic mission to Syria. On July 5, 1982, his vehicle, transporting diplomats, was intercepted by the Kataeb party, leading to the complete disappearance of him and the other passengers. Iran accuses Israel of abducting them, while Israel claims ignorance of their fate.
