Ahn Sahng-hong was a Korean religious leader born on January 13, 1918, in Jeollabuk-do. He founded the World Mission Society Church of God, which regards him as the second coming of Jesus. Initially baptized in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1948, he left in 1962, establishing his church in 1964. He emphasized the need to restore early Christian teachings, such as the Passover and the Sabbath, which have attracted criticism for their divergence from traditional Christian doctrines. He passed away on February 25, 1985, in Busan, South Korea.
