Peter Piekos, born Pieter Koster on 13 January 1918 in Amsterdam, was a notable Dutch voice actor best known for voicing Cookie Monster and Herry Monster in 'Sesamstraat', the Dutch version of 'Sesame Street'. Piekos also provided voices for characters like Herbert Birdsfoot and Sherlock Hemlock. His voice brought to life a variety of narrators, often resembling an old-fashioned radio announcer. In the late 1980s, he became unlocatable as he was living in Italy, leading to Hero Muller taking over the roles of the monsters.
