Aleksander Casso, born Johannes Hyvärinen, was a Finnish magician known for his unique performances. He started his entertainment career at 17 in Sirkus Panakos after working as a lumberjack. Initially performing under the name Carambo, he specialized in fakir acts. In the 1950s, he adopted the stage name Aleksander Casso and achieved fame as a magician through performances across Finland and abroad, particularly at Linnanmäki Teatterihalli. Casso was noted for his exceptional dexterity and innovative cigarette tricks. Sadly, he struggled with alcoholism in his later years.
