Ali-Akbar Zargham was a prominent Iranian military officer and politician, serving in various cabinet positions during the premierships of Manouchehr Eghbal and Jafar Sharif-Emami. Born in Tehran in 1911, he graduated from military institutions and became a major general by 1958. His public career included directorships in customs and finance, alongside involvement in post-earthquake recovery efforts in Qazvin after the tragic 1962 Bou'in-Zahra earthquake. He passed away from a heart attack on December 22, 1976.
