Anathalavattom Anandan (1937-2023) was a prominent Indian politician and trade unionist affiliated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He served as the President of the Kerala State Committee and the national Vice President of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions. Anandan held a key role in the Kerala Coir Workers Centre and was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Attingal three times, in 1987, 1996, and 2006. In 2016, the Kerala government appointed him as the Vice Chairman of the Apex Body for Coir.
