He is an expert in electroodontalgesia and implantology, as well as the inventor of a new sport, 'Piterbasket'. He holds a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree and is a professor. Nesmeyanov is a full member of several scientific academies and has co-authored over 90 inventions. He also plays basketball for the veteran team of Saint Petersburg, known as 'Nevskie veterans' 70+.
