Andre Haermeyer is a former Australian politician born on 20 February 1956 in Oberhausen, West Germany. He served as a member of the Labor Party, representing the Kororoit electorate in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 2002, and previously the Yan Yean electorate from 1992. Haermeyer retired from Parliament in 2007 and was appointed as the Commissioner to Europe for the State of Victoria, based in Frankfurt, Germany, until 2012. He has worked as a consultant in both Europe and Australia and is involved with the German Australian Business Council.
