She became a pioneer in family mediation and, from the 1990s, advocated for the right to choose end-of-life options and for legal reforms surrounding it. In 2018, she co-founded an association named LE CHOIX, which she left in June 2020 due to personal reasons. Babu also has a strong interest in the consciousness after death, particularly in near-death experiences.
