Ante Drndić was a Croatian patriot, journalist, diplomat, and founding member of the Istrian newspaper 'Glas Istre.' Born on March 6, 1915, in Pazin, he emigrated with his family to Dalmatia in 1921. After studying mathematics and physics, he began teaching in Berane and later in Šibenik. In 1943, alongside his brother Ljubo Drndić, he founded 'Glas Istre' and served as its first editor. He was active in the Communist Party of Croatia (KPH) and became an important figure for Istrian émigrés.
