Anton Flego is a Slovenian academic sculptor and educator born on March 8, 1938, in Novo Mesto. He was born to an agronomist father and a teacher mother. He attended primary school in Novo Mesto and Vipava, later enrolling in a five-year design school in Ljubljana, focusing on ceramics. Flego graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1964. After his studies, he worked as an art educator before dedicating himself to sculpting, painting, ceramics, industrial design, and theater set design.
