A leading figure in LGBTI advocacy since May 1974, he authored the first LGBTI Manifesto in Portugal titled 'Freedom for the Sexual Minorities.' As the founder and current president of Opus Gay, he has significantly contributed to the LGBTI movement. He also hosts a radio program called Vidas Alternativas (Alternative Lives), fostering discussions on diverse sexual identities.
