He became a full academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2019, having been a corresponding member since 2016. He holds the title of professor and earned his Doctor of Technical Sciences in 2009. Since August 2019, he has served as the director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Dairy Industry.
