Aramayis Barseghyan is a former Armenian parliament deputy, born on May 12, 1953, in Artashat. He studied engineering at the Krasnodar Institute of Non-Ferrous Metallurgy from 1977 to 1982. Barseghyan held various positions including mechanic at the Yerevan Machine Tool Plant and chief architect of an Artashat construction company. He was also the director of a transport enterprise in Krasnodar and served in the Soviet Army. From 1999 to 2003, he was active in parliament, focusing on social affairs, health, and environmental issues.
