Ardak Manoukian was an Armenian Archbishop born on January 22, 1931, in Beirut, Lebanon, serving as the Archbishop of Armenians in Tehran from 1961 until his death in 1999. After studying at Kilikia Theological School and Lausanne, he became a prominent religious leader, establishing several churches in Tehran and Rudsar. A lecturer at Tehran University, he authored 34 books on religious, ethical, and historical topics, many of which have been translated into Persian and English. Manoukian passed away on October 15, 1999, in Tehran.
