Árpád Pálffy is a prominent Szekler ceramicist and sculptor, also known for his political involvement with the RMDSZ. Born on February 1, 1931, in Hodgya, he completed his education at the Tamási Áron High School and worked in agriculture for ten years. He then took on various roles in ceramics, ultimately becoming the chief technician of the Olt Cooperative. Pálffy was instrumental in organizing RMDSZ units post-1989 and served as vice-president and later president of the local chapter, retiring in 1990. His artistic works have been displayed in numerous exhibitions.
