He is best known for his graphic novel Maus, which addresses the Holocaust and its long-term effects on survivors. Spiegelman has received various awards for his work, including the Inkpot Award, Eisner Award, a special prize from the Angoulême International Comics Festival, and a Pulitzer Prize.
