Asaad Ali Yaseen is an Iraqi former politician and businessman born on February 3, 1953. He served as the Iraqi ambassador to Sofia, Bulgaria, starting in 2009, and was the ambassador to Yemen from 2010 to 2012. Yaseen was also the president of Samarra’s city council from 2006 to 2007 and worked as an officer in the Ministry of Trade from 1971 to 1980. Additionally, he was involved in various projects in Iraq as a leading contractor from 1981 to 1986.
