Äsğät Ğalimcanov (1936-2016) was a Soviet and Russian philanthropist from Tatarstan. He began his career as a porter at the Kazan collective farm market while raising livestock at home. With the money earned, he gifted over 80 passenger buses and cars to orphanages in the Soviet Union and Russia. His contributions have led to him being honored as the subject of a monument to philanthropists in Kazan.
