Astro Mari (1911-1988) was an Italian clarinetist, lyricist, and composer. He began his music education at the Conservatorio di Cagliari and later moved to Rome, collaborating with many musicians. He gained recognition in 1943 with the waltz 'Valzer di ogni bambina' for the film 'Incontri di notte' and became a trusted lyricist for Claudio Villa. He participated in the Sanremo Music Festival several times and published poetry collections later in life. After his death, Olbia honored him with a street named after him.
