Âŭgen Mihajlavič Sahuta, born on February 15, 1945, in Vechatarova, Stawtsoŭski District, is a Belarusian art historian and ethnologist. He earned a Doctor of Arts degree in 1996 and became a professor in 2004. Sahuta has been the Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Folk Art Masters since 1992 and is a member of the International Organization of Folk Art (IOV). His contributions significantly impact the fields of art history and ethnology in Belarus.
