She began her music studies at the Arrasate Musical Academy, specializing in violin, and continued her education at the San Sebastián Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of Madrid. Arzamendi earned advanced teaching qualifications in harmony, counterpoint, composition, choral, and orchestral conducting. Since 2006, she has focused on promoting the music of women composers and was selected in 2021 by the SGAE Foundation and AEOS to enhance contemporary orchestral repertoire.
