William Farmer Jr. is an American politician known for his service in the Kentucky House of Representatives. Elected in 2002, he represented the 88th district until 2013. Farmer's tenure included a notable change when his district was redrawn in Lexington, following the elimination of his original district in Harlan County. He chose not to seek reelection in 2012, being succeeded by Robert Benvenuti. In 2018, he attempted a political comeback but lost in the election to Democratic candidate Cherlynn Stevenson.
