Blagovest Argirov is a Bulgarian pop performer born on April 23, 1959, in Plovdiv. He studied music initially at a local music school and later graduated from the 'Prof. Pancho Vladigerov' Music Academy, where he played the cello. He debuted in 1981 at a youth music competition with his brother Svetoslav as the duo 'Vega.' The following year, they formed 'Argirovi Brothers,' performing at festivals in Bratislava and Dresden. In 1999, he released the album 'Recognition: Blagovest Argirov and Friends.' He also participates in several feature films and runs a construction business.
