Robert Joseph Gladieux is a former American football running back who played in the AFL and NFL for teams including the Boston Patriots and Buffalo Bills. A Notre Dame alumni, he scored 15 touchdowns in his senior year and famously caught a touchdown in the 'Game of the Century' against Michigan State. After his professional career, he worked as a bartender and returned to Notre Dame as an assistant coach. Gladieux later opened a travel agency with his wife and appeared in the film 'Rudy.' In 2022, he was honored in his high school's 'Ring of Honor.'
