Robert Arthur (Bob) Roseveare was an English codebreaker at Bletchley Park during World War II and later became a schoolteacher. Born in Repton, Derbyshire in 1923, he was recruited to decode Luftwaffe Enigma messages. After the war, he pursued a degree in mathematics at Cambridge. He taught at various schools in South Africa and England, including Uppingham School, where he became head of the Mathematics department. Roseveare authored works on his family's history and died in 2004 at 81 years old in Uppingham.
