Robert Trendler (1912-2011) was an American bandleader and musical director, notably known as Mr. Bob on Bozo's Circus in Chicago. He led the WGN Orchestra from 1956 to 1975 and started playing piano at age six. Trendler worked with notable figures in music, including Gershwin and Ellington, and was well-regarded for his contributions to children's television. He retired in 1975, later moving to Florida, where he stayed active in broadcasting clubs. Trendler passed away at 99, leaving behind a legacy in American music and entertainment.
