Boonky Ho (何文杞) was a renowned Taiwanese painter born on February 26, 1931, in Pingtung, Taiwan. He graduated from the National Pingtung University and later earned his degree from Taiwan Normal University where he studied under acclaimed artist Liao Chi-Chun. Ho founded the Cui Guang Painting Association and participated in numerous exhibitions, showcasing his unique style that combined Western influences and local realism. His works reflected his love for his homeland and included concepts he termed 'diamond painting method'. He passed away on January 10, 2023.
