Boris Saghyan, born on January 20, 1941, in Chapar, is an Armenian wrestler, educator, and expert in the theory and methodology of physical culture and sports. He obtained a doctorate in pedagogical sciences in 1991 and became a professor in 2002. He is a member of the Armenian Pedagogical Academy and was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Physical Culture of Armenia in 2001, as well as receiving the title of Master of Sports of the USSR in 1962. His works focus on the development and preparation of physical culture in Armenia.
