Abraham Jacobus (Bram) Kret (1928-1993) was a Dutch politician affiliated with the ARP and later the CDA. He studied theology at the Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht and became a vicar in 1952, followed by a position as a Reformed Church pastor. Transitioning to education in 1961, he taught religious studies and served as a city council member before becoming the mayor of Sassenheim in 1974. Kret retired in 1989 and passed away in 1993 at the age of 65.
