Brian O'Dwyer, born on October 10, 1945, is an American lawyer and activist deeply involved in the Irish-American community. He currently chairs the New York State Gaming Commission and serves on the Commission on Presidential Scholars. Throughout his legal career, he has advocated for labor organizations and the rights of workers and immigrants. Brian is the son of Paul O'Dwyer, who was President of the City Council from 1973-1977, and his uncle, William O'Dwyer, served as Mayor of New York City from 1945 to 1950.
