Charles Hardaway Marks (1921–2004) was an influential American attorney and Democratic politician. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates for nearly three decades, representing various regions. Marks played a significant role in advocating for the recognition of Virginia Indian tribes, earning awards for his efforts. A veteran of World War II, he was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and was wounded at Iwo Jima. Marks also contributed to real estate development and banking and was a founding member of a law firm. He left a lasting legacy with the naming of bridges in his honor.
