He was appointed as an additional judge on October 20, 2021. Jayachandran entered the judicial service in February 2011 as an additional district judge and has held the position of Principal District Judge in Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kottayam. He earned his LLB from Kerala Law Academy and a LLM from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.
