C. Saratchandran (1958–2010) was an Indian documentary filmmaker and activist based in Kerala. Known for his passionate work, he organized numerous film screenings of documentaries and classics in remote areas of Kerala, promoting the art of filmmaking. Born on February 16, 1958, to parents Chandrasekharan Nair and T. Sarada, he was influenced by his maternal grandfather, Professor M. P. Manmathan. He had two sisters, Neeraja Rajendran and Sarada Sunanda, and dedicated his life to enhancing the cultural landscape through film.
