Carita Järvinen was a Finnish-born French fashion model and actress, born on May 20, 1938, in Sipoo, Finland. She began her modeling career in the late 1950s and moved to Paris in the 1960s, working with renowned designers. Her film debut was in 1962, and she gained recognition for her role as Queen Salina in the 1967 Hammer film 'The Viking Queen'. Despite receiving positive reviews, she chose not to pursue further acting roles, to the extent of rejecting parts in James Bond films. She passed away in 2022.
