Charles Gibson is an archivist and politician from Belize, born on June 8, 1953. He studied library science at the University of the West Indies, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1980 and later a Master of Arts from the University of London in 1982. He became an archivist and served as the Chief Archivist at the National Archive of Belize. From March 12, 2012, until 2015, he was a senator for the United Democratic Party (UDP), where he also held the position of Minister of Public Service, Elections, and Boundaries in the Barrow II Cabinet.
