Christopher Sverre Norborg was a Norwegian-American priest and author born on May 1, 1902, in Oslo. He was a prolific writer, publishing numerous books in both Norwegian and English. Educated at the Menighetsfakultet, he served as a seaman’s priest in New York from 1929 to 1933. He earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Oslo in 1935 and taught at the University of Minnesota for ten years. From 1948 to 1968, he was a priest in Chicago. Norborg died on April 13, 1983, in Dunedin, Florida.
