Johannes Chrysostomus Giner, born Josef Franz Giner on February 23, 1930, in Thaur, was an Augustinian canon who served as the 56th provost and the 15th Lateran abbot of the Neustift monastery in Vahrn, South Tyrol. He was a notable figure in the Austrian canon congregation, greatly contributing to its religious and organizational life until his death on February 25, 2024, in Neustift Monastery.
