Colin McLeod Telfer, born in Hawick on February 26, 1947, was a Scottish rugby player and coach who played as a fly-half. He was capped 70 times for the Scotland national team between 1968 and 1976. His club was Hawick RFC, where he also contributed to the team's success during his playing career. Telfer is remembered for his contributions to rugby in Scotland, both on the domestic and international stages.
