Cord Hermann Mysegaes is a German eventing rider born on March 22, 1968, in Delmenhorst. He won an Olympic team bronze medal in 1992 in Barcelona, where he also achieved 13th place individually. Trained initially by his father and later by Horst Karsten, Mysegaes had successes in junior championships, winning team bronze in 1985 and team gold in 1987. He retired in 1996 due to injury but continued riding, competing in events up to CCI 4*. He is also a teacher of art, mathematics, and sports at Bassum Secondary School.
