Don Daniel Athulathmudali (1901–1958) was a notable Ceylonese lawyer and politician. Born in Pasdun Korale, he was educated at Ananda College and studied law in England, becoming a barrister in 1926. He was elected to the State Council from Matugama in 1931 and contested in the 1947 parliamentary elections for the United National Party, though he was not successful. His family includes three children, one of whom, Lalith, became a prominent politician in Sri Lanka.
