Thelander exhibited her works in various locations including Hägersten, Borgholm, and Stockholm. Her art focused on floral still lifes, interiors, portraits, and landscapes from Öland, executed in pastel and drawing. Additionally, she illustrated several textbooks, including Biology for high school.
