Daniel Darès, born Daniel Zajdman (January 25, 1931 – April 21, 2011), was a French actor, producer, and theater director. He played notable roles at the Théâtre Hébertot and produced French adaptations of several American musicals during the 1970s, such as Hair and Godspell. After marrying actress Héléna Bossis, he co-directed the Théâtre Antoine until her death in 2008 and continued to direct afterwards. He also managed the Comédie des Champs-Élysées. He passed away from a pulmonary embolism and is buried in Montparnasse Cemetery, Paris.
